I’ve been writing here on Medium regularly since 2016 if I recall correctly. I’ve written here so much It’d take me forever to scroll back to my early posts, given both the page and app layout. That’s not a criticism, just a fact.

The only criticism I have left of you as a platform, organization, business, and essentially an underpaying freelance client of mine, is exactly that — you underpay me, along with underappreciate and underpromote me. You’ve overlooked me and so many other talented writers for years here, always with an excuse to point to or a promise to do better in the future. Well as far as I’m concerned, the future is more than here and the better tomorrow never came. You just took more and more from us, while you brazenly gave us and promoted us less. Unapologetically, as if it was your right to. Simply because you knew you could.

After all, so many talented writers never made a dime off their work, we should…
