I truthfully love Rolling Stone too. I dislike the direction they’ve headed, hate the fact they gave the Boston Bomber the cover but still respect them as a publication. I don’t blame them, I don’t even blame Medium, I get it.

But the proof is in the pudding, I worry about the big publications being here because what it’s done to my numbers personally. And by numbers I mean income as well as stats.

I have three times the followers I did this time last year yet I make a small fraction of what I did then off my locked stories. How is that even possible?
