Just yesterday I had barrages of people quote tweeting a story I had written months ago that got a little bit of overnight traction.

The majority of it was positive but naturally there were trolls tweeting it solely to tell people how stupid the article and person who wrote it is.

For a brief moment, I let it bother me. Then I realized, despite the mindless criticisms, they were actually marketing my work for me.

A few more negative tweets came in throughout the rest of the day. I simply wished them all well and then blocked them.

Funny how we can have plenty of people leaving positive feedback but instead choose to focus on the one negative comment. I just block it out and move on.
