Life, The World We Live In, And It’s People Are Absurdly Comical, If You’re Able And Willing To Allow Yourself To View It All As Such
We can let it all eat away at us, making us miserable until it literally kills us, or we can find the humor in even our most horrible days and our hardest of hardships.
I’ve always enjoyed irony. The thicker the better. I like to be able to taste it when I enter a room and it’s even better if the people in that room either genuinely fail to see it or clearly do but insist on pretending the thousand pound elephant in said room didn’t just shit in the middle of it and leave on its own leisure after.
Mainly, because I like being the one that points right to it. The one who breaks the ice that should have never formed in the first place, by not only saying what everyone else wants to but doesn’t, but if I’m lucky, allowing others to see how fucking ridiculously funny the situation at hand really is, if we’re being honest.
I’ve always been good at finding humor in the darkest of situations. Don’t get me wrong, not like 9/11 and school shooting type tragedies, but darkness of the every day variety, the shit we all deal with and don’t talk about. Life, basically.
