Listen, yes if taken literally, word for word, I guess it could come off as slightly narcissistic, in today's overly sensitive and hyper-analytical world.

But almost none of it was intended to be taken literal, nor did I foresee that happening.

It's purposely hyperbolic and exxagarated. The fan fiction thing for example, was simply my way of expressing my feelings towards the genre as a whole. I wouldn't actually not date someone, based off their reading preference. Hopefully this provides some clarity to you and whoever else because I still see no problem with this piece and never will.
