Nah I think you’re on point Nate. And I think the sooner users of it realize it and make a switch, be it to their own domain or medium, the better off we will all be for it.
I look at it like this, the reality is realistic people knew MySpace and Tumblr were dead before many were willing to admit it or move on. Sure, both still technically exist today but no reasonable person would try to use either one of those outlets to try and market something meaningful. Just because WordPress hasn’t been pronounced dead yet, doesn’t mean it’s not dead.
