Nothing about the Patriots play says they are not elite, they are clearly the team to beat again this year. To win two games with their backup and then one with their third string qb and not lose or come close to doing so since Brady has been back pretty much defines elite. They are on their way to another super bowl win. For what it’s worth this is coming from an Eagles fan, not a Pats fan from Boston
