A story of resentment and eventual — dare I say — spiritual growth.
Sean “Puff Daddy” Combs, has irked the deepest part of my soul since my early to mid-teens. I mean I’ll be honest I don’t know when it started, I bought the “No Way Out” album, an instant classic, regardless of who wrote what lyrics.
Yeah, I said it.
I suspect one dive into the credits of your favorite P Diddy joint will tell you, he probably didn’t write the lyrics. Word on the street is Faith Evans wrote the words to “I’ll Be Missing You” — the song that I must admit was my inspiration for this post and ended just as I typed the title.
Maybe that’s where it started, when I first heard the rumor he didn’t even write the words that were meant to be a dedication to his so-called close friend. However, I’ve yet to this day, done the least bit of research on the matter myself and refuse to, because I will not google his name.
Google might get our relationship confused for a close one, next thing I know he’s popping up on my YouTube and it’s a whole thing.
