The Advice I hope I Always Take

Don’t think, act. Believe it,see it as yours and then go get it. Claim it.

There is no time for stutter and half steps. Walk, speak and act boldly.

Make proclamations. To yourself and others. If there is no alternative route around the obstacle in your way, go right through it, without apology.

Good intentions only equate to good when action follows. Anything short of that ought to be classified as the things we know we should be doing but aren’t. No amount of self justification or rationalization will change that.

All I know about success is that it is defined differently by each of us as individuals and nobody can define it for you.

The same can be said for the meaning of life and happiness. The meaning of your life is the meaning you assign to it or the meaning you let someone else assign to it. As a wiser man than myself once said, the only zen you find upon a mountain top is that which you brought up with you in the first place. Pursue happiness effortlessly. Find a way for it to become your default. Never make a habit of putting the happiness of others before your own, with the exception of those you are responsible for.

Make decisions or others will make them for you.

It isn’t that difficult to be a decent person. Integrity can be hard to come by but it’s not difficult to practice.

Learn from pain and heartache. Say the things that scare you but help and uplift others. Do for others what others have done for you,or better yet what you wish someone would have.

Choose to be better and do better, every day in every possible way.

Don’t ever let someone tell you that you can’t and certainly don’t ever tell yourself you can’t.

Of course you can, it’s just a matter of whether you truly desire to or if you even should or not.

Don’t stop until you believe you’re the best at what you do. If you ever believe the lie that you can’t become the best at what it is you’re doing, then find something else to do.

Get busy living or get busy dying. Most importantly, never end a post with a quote you stole from your favorite movie.
