The Mayhem and The Message

The most valuable lessons I’ve learned to date often came in the form of something I didn’t want to or thought I couldn’t endure — but made myself get up and find a way to — no matter what — come Rain, sleet, snow, ice, brimstone, and hellfire.

Hoops and hurdles feel harder to jump through when we’re already in three forms of pain as is, but how dare we tell ourselves we can’t, when we haven’t even tried.

Doing this habitually only turns our entire lives into a dull form of pain we subconsciously tell ourselves we can’t or don’t want to endure.

Listen, I get it. Nobody understands this tragic pattern better than me.

However, my plea to you today is to stop telling yourself such a sad story about yourself. To throw the I can't and won’t’s, right in the fucking trash and light the can on fire. I dare you to.

What we focus on is what we end up fermenting and figuring out.

Days full of love and laughter can become nights full of literal hell, without a fair heads up or forewarning. Thankfully though, its exact opposite is true also. The story you want to tell yourself on which it’s going to be before you even get out of bed is up to you, better to go see though. To…
