This is because it is something I wrote, messing around, in roughly twenty minutes, that I almost didn’t publish because I agree, it’s not great.

But whatever it is, the amount of criticism about me personally it has garnered is over the top and unwarranted.

The amount of judgmental, holier than thou, ‘I know more about what you were trying to say than you do’ kind of comments it has received from overly sensitive virtue signalers truly speaks to what has become of Medium’s readership and audience.

It’s always the people who aren’t brave enough to create anything themselves or take chances in their work who have the most to say about the people who do.
