It would take an entire book for me to share what I’ve learned on my journey of recovery and healing, in hopes of getting and being better every day, but I’ll do my best to briefly summarize my experience, strength, and hope with you all.

To try and give you the greatest hits collection so to speak, of the profound things I’ve learned about myself and my life as a whole, little by little each day.

They come to me in ways I never knew possible before, in a language I didn’t speak. After thirty-four whole years on this earth, I’m finally learning to live in tune with it, rather than against it.

To oppose it is to resist the Will of the world, it’s futile.

Living in opposition of it when all it wants to do is guide you until you glide correctly, is the stubborn human version of biting the hand that feeds you.

On the road of recovery that my journey has placed me on, I’ve learned I have to remain teachable if I hope to get better and stay that way.

I’ve learned I'm not as sick as some believe — or believed I am, and I’m far sicker than others, including me, would’ve led you to think. So, it balances itself out well enough for me to leave it alone. To know, that’s my best option.
