Your sensible and well put stance on guns echoes mine and inspired/reminded me to add my take on the issue as well as on police, based off my experience.

Again, I don’t expect others to agree as their experience may not be similar to mine. We’ve all walked different paths, forming different views along the way. But just know if you hadn’t brought up the topic of guns, it wouldn’t have occurred to me I left a few important topics on the overall subject matter of my story out so thank you for the unintentional reminder and inspiration.
